Where Are We Based?
Climbs
With a home base on the edge of Huddersfield, the limestone and grit crags of the Peak are easily reached. The open, high moorlands around Black Hill and the Chew Valley are ideal terrain for developing navigational skills. Bleaklow is also nearby.
Bookings can be accepted for periods as short as a half day.
Flexible
Work assignments can be accepted wherever required and appropriate. As an experienced climber/mountaineer David has a good knowledge of many mountain areas.
One of the attractions of working as a Freelance is the opportunity to visit varied venues. Work assignments in the last decade have included Sport climbing in Italy, hut to hut touring in Norway and walking the Alta Via Two in the Dolomites!
Where work is not within the remit of David's Award/ Qualifications (watersports, caving etc) he may assist you to find suitably qualified persons.
